Creating time: 5 mins

1 wire coat hanger

Wire cutters

Pliers

2m ribbon

Material flowers to decorate (optional)

  1. Using the wire cutters, cut the bottom of the coat hanger at a point about 1/3 in from the outside edge.
  2. If your coat hangar is plastic coated, remove 1cm plastic either side of where you cut using the stripper on the wire cutters.
  3. Bend the exposed wire using the pliers so the two sides can hook together.
  4. Tie the ribbon round the neck of the hangar and wind it down either side of the hangar. Tie it at the bottom and cut the remains of the ribbon off.
  5. Tie the two pieces of ribbon either side of the hangar and make them into bows.
  6. Decorate with paper flowers as you wish. I’ve used a fresh flower in the neck of the coat hangar.
